Fei Lo walked from the ranks of men and looked out to where Rai Tan was standing armed with a mace.

Fei glared at him and raised his staff.

"Now you die, for you oppose my lord,"

Tan took two forward steps and swung his mace, left to right, downwards at the side of his foe's head.

Fei Lo raised his quarterstaff to parry Rai Tan's attack. As this would leave his opponent open Fei Lo jabbed as his chest with the hard metallic end of his weapon.

Rai Tan did not see how Fei Lo hoped to win this fight. The staff head simply clunked against his breastplate, probably jarring the other man's arm before Tan jumped forwards and swung his mace at Fei's head.

Fei Lo once again went on the attack. Using his stave like a ram he charged at Rai Tan aiming the pole right into the bridge of Rai Tan's nose. If it connected it would do some serious damage.

Rai Tan swept his mace up to knock Fei Lo's stave aside. He took a small blow to the side of the head but it was nothing serious. It could have been far worse considering how hard the end of his weapon was; made of metal and a painful impact.

Once again Fei Lo shoved his stave into the ground so he could use it to aid his own movement. He used his own weight to keep it steady and whirl around it moving all the way around Rai Tan to kick him in the back with both feet.

Rai Tan rolled forward so that the kick would not hit him quite as hard. After rolling he turned and waited for Fei Lo to come at him again.

Fei Lo thrust his stave downwards so it touched the ground in between Rai Tan's legs. He darted to the left so that the stave would move in a tripping motion.
