Li Damu breathed slowly in and out as he faced the two spearmen. He held his sword in a fencing grip, as he placed one hand on his hip to correctly maintain his posture. Li knew what he was doing, and often boasted that he was the best swordsman in all of Neiko. The funny thing was; he believed himself.

Le Fu darted to the left and then jumped forward he got quickly close to Li Damu. He then utilised his speed to jab his spear at Li's eyes, trying to blind him and thus end the fight (and the battle) swiftly.

Meanwhile, Zhuge Zen went to the left, creating a pincer attack with their unspoken plan.
(terrible, terrible post, sorry)

Instead of fighting defensively, which would have immediately put him on the back foot; Li Damu instead went on the offensive. He jumped away from the spear jab and instead towards Zhuge Zen, batting aside his spear with his sword, Li Damu lunged at his guts with his dagger, which had appeared in his hands as if by magic.

Le Fu switched direction and kept after Li Damu. As the ruler attempted to slash at Zhuge Zen, Le Fu stabbed at Li Damu's back, unseen.

The dagger slid between a gap in Zhuge Zen's armour, but even as it escaped that armour it was stopped dead by more. The chainmail shirt proved a lifesaver. Zen attacked once again, blocking Li Damu with his shoulder to try and knock him to the ground.

Li Damu withdrew his dagger and kicked Zhuge Zen in the midsection as he attempted to shoulder block the ruler. He felt a scrape against the back of his armour as Le Fu thrust at him, then he whirled his sword around in a decapitating swing at Le Fu's head.

Zhuge Zen felt the air whistle from his lungs and he staggered back. His own momentum had crushed the foot of Li Damu against his guts, and Zen was hurt badly.

Le Fu almost broke his back by leaning away from Li Damu's attack Le really had not liked that swing and his face contorted with pain as he retreated. Le Fu immediately went back in with a full-on running charge with his spear outstretched.

Li Damu rolled his body away from the spear, and he grinned as he saw that Le Fu was about to skewer the winded Zhuge Zen. That wouldn't go down well with the high command, so Li detirmined to put the man out of his misery and directed a strike at Le's neck as he came to stab his own ally.

(MODERATING POST)
Zen's eyes opened so wide he thought they might fall from their sockets. Le Fu's spear was buried in the middle of his chest, and the youngster just could not comprehend what had happened. He fell to one knee, and as his vision swam, he saw a spray of blood when Li Damu dealt with Le Fu in dismissive fashion. Brother... I'm sorry...

(Well there is nothing to say about that but.... bugger)
Le Fu almost screamed in horror when he inadvertadly killed Zhuge Zen and he was almost relieved when he felt a blow to the back of his neck. It killed him almost instantly, and he pitched forward to the ground and lay there motionless...
