In a agile movement, nao ling jumped over some of the battling troops and headed straight for Kay damu. Kay wielded a broadsword with great skill, but nao Ling used his spear with equal; he just had to make sure the Damu didn't get a strike on his spear, or it would snap like a twig.

Kay Damu made a running dash towards his foe. This would be an interesitng fight, but it would be a cautious one from the parts of both fighters. If Kay swung too soon, he'd be gutted. If Nao Ling stabbed carelessly, he'd find himself weaponless.

Kay knocked two men aside as he approached Nao Ling, the man who had earlier taunted him. This little conflict was vital for the battle, if he lost, then everthing would go to hell. His friend, Ka, was in a similar position at the north wall. Kay hoped he was up to the challenge.
Kay moved towards Nao Ling as well and made a motion to swing, left to right at Nao's chest.

Nao had no choice but to jump back, he wasn't exactly going to be able to parry the blow. Nao tried to stab at Kay's chest.

Kay swept his broadsword in a corkscrewing motion, attempting to slice the thin spear into pieces with a swift movement. A weaponless enemy was a dead enemy.

Though his attack connected, it was at the moment that a huge stone came flying through the air to smash the life out of those on the south wall. Kay was knocked to the ground, chest crushed. He reached out to Nao Ling, sprawled out beside him. "It was a good fight my friend. But it looks like this is the end of the line..." Kay, still with a hand on Nao's arm, closed his eyes slowly...
